Although not surprising when you look at the quality they have in every position. The only problem they might face is that a fair few of their first team are getting towards the end of their careers and they may have to replace a large number of quality players all at once.

Winning 60-70% of our games each season, regularly winning games against wire, saints, leeds, wigan and hudds, scoring 50+ points 3 or 4 times a season. Not building up big leads then throwing them away, putting games to bed when we have the opportunity, winning play off games and cup games against good opposition.



How about you tom or are you content with one win at wire in 6 years and a derby victory?

I was thinking more of "same season" consistency, a la 2006 - you're talking about year on year consistency, then.



Fair do's, but we can only start afresh as we mean to go on. I'd go with same season consistency for now and take a 2006-esque run, and worry about next season later.

Yep, got to love the way they killed of that powerhouse of rugby - Batley in the cup.

I didnt see too much tonight to get me too worried about Hudds. Will be tough but I bet we dont fall off the tackles as easily as Saints did. Injuries are catching up with them and they looked like a very tired team imo.

Giants' kicking game is far superior to ours, though. We need to improve it in order to compete regularly with the top teams.

Are we better than Saints then ? Them being hammered and all ? Or was it that shambolic excuse of injuries that cost them ?
