Again, we already have Lynch and Watts. Kite will be the bully if all goes to plan. Add Crabtree to them, as well as Bowden, that's an excellent pack IMO.

Crabtree's a great player. However, I don't see him as a likely signing. If we were to turn to Hudds for a prop, I would imagine that Keith Mason would be the most likely option. He hasn't gotten much gametime this year compared to usual, according to some posters on the Hudds board he had been told that he could leave if he finds another club, and he would add a bit of roughness to our front row.

Never rated Mason tbh.

I wasn't wondering about people's entitlement to an opinion. I was wondering how they manage to come up with the one they have at times.

Who mentioned they had to be a target???I replied I could think of a English Prop who I thought on current playing ability was better than Crabtree as the post by Sheldon said he was struggling to think of one.

I don't see Crabtree coming here, in fact I can't see him leaving Huddersfield at all. I think the only reason he's being linked is because of his agent, who's been getting a fair bit of business out of us recently. Nothing in this IMO.

I like Lynch, he's a good grafter but he hasn't got that something else about him.

There very similar in stats, you can tell Lynch plays more mintues, but EC makes more yards per carry and has a better ability to bust tackles. Looking at that I actually think they'd be a great front row partnership.

Crabtree would be an excellent signing. Patrick would also be a decent signing.



I believe Taylor has options with Hull, Leeds and NRL. Nothig decided yet.







On the fullback I still think McDonnell might come. When he was interviewed prior to the derby he was asked directly by Angela Powers and he would not confirm or deny it. Now if he wasn't coming to Hull why risk the wrath and speculation of the fans by not just saying no? Also both clubs were very quick to deny it when the story broke.

I dont think he offers anything more than Lynchy TBH, its just I've never really seen him rip it that often in games. Stats I agree are pretty similar but also I feel Lynchy has pretty much carried our pack and go forward this season with the amount of time both Ogre, Moa etc have been missing etc.



It would be interesting to see how Crabtrees stats stack up since Huddersfield have been struggling as opposed to when they (as a team) were totally dominating teams earlier in the season.

No, because the available evidence and weight of opinion suggests the opposite is true. Your perfectly entitled to not rate Crabtree just as I'm perfectly entitled to think your bonkers for not doing so.

Where has this post count clique myth come from? You know the cuddle club doesn't actually exist don't you? People post an opinion and that opinion is challenged by a differing opinion and then complain that is somehow a suggestion they are not entitled to said opinion. Or people don't agree because your post count is low etc etc not only is it factually incorrect it's also pretty pathetic.

Difference is I don't think people are bonkers because they have a different opinion or view to myself, as they are entitled to have a different view & I can see their viewpoint.

I think Huddersfield in the first half were a far better team than we were and ran riot going forward as a whole. Plus I think the fact they were playing the same systems and style that they were helped them. Hull I agree started off well although I still think we are very patchy apart from a small number of games. What helped us win more often than not was the defensive structure stifiling the opposition.



I just feel if we are to lose Ogre & Sam we need another player of that ilk rather than someone like Crabtree but who knows as PG has said he wants a more mobile pack and one that can sustain longer minutes. What we seem to lack is that bit of nastiness in the forwards. I do see Watts though becoming a very important player for us next season and i'd like to compare him and Crabtree at the midway point of next season. I really do believe Sandycock & Grudge have made a huge error letting him go.

Crabtree would be a great signing.. I Said abit ago that hull were after crabtree. He's a big lad who draws defenders in but ALSO has an offload game to him.



Gentle said he wanted a big agile pack and i think personally Crabtree fits the bill.

For the record I haven't actually said I don't rate him, I just don't get all the hype of he's fantastic etc.



I also think the style of Rugby that Brown employs is a more forward based game than Gentle employs and they seem to aim to get more points from their forwards than we do which again helps Crabtree.

Im not a Crabtree fan either. He's ok but looks knackered most of the time and is not as good as a couple of years ago imo. Id rather go with Mason tbh
