Maybe if our board didn't make such laughable decisions like hiring Stuart Reardon, pundits wouldn't be in a position to criticise the club to such lengths. I don't see what this ban will achieve other than making our club seem petty. Is banning them going to get them to talk positively about the club on the radio? As has been mentioned, they aren't going to be affected revenue wise as it's in the license fee. If anything, they could slag the club off more now as the worst that could happen has happened.



Think it's a rather embarrassing decision to come to after what was just two comments. Will we be banning Sky next because Stevo doesn't like us?

As for the Reardon affair it was one viewpoint on a Sports Chat show.

Get it right,it was the sports editor spouting off below the belt and he is always doing it.He wants sorting out for his biased opinions.The blokes out of his depth.Other radio stations don't carry on like that so why the hell does he get away with it?.He trys to be a shock jockey and he is not very good at it.The sooner Radio Humberside get rid the better.

Alan Green on 5Live is well known for his strong opinions and questioning that have upset some.

I would not class Burns on the same level as Green , but he was making an opinion on a very topical issue.

He accused Hull FC of being "crass" and then made a joke about domestic abuse.



The man is a moron but the ban is pointless and petty.

With regard to refering to Hull as crass , well he may have a point with the timing of the Reardon signing.



As for a joke about domestic violence that is not displaying professional conduct at all.

No it isn't pointless and petty at all. Hull is clearly sick and tired of the bias and sniping of certain RH presenters. RH should report the news as fact, and if they want to offer opinion they should do so in a professional and curteous manner. These attempts by certain RH employees to replicate the Sun and Daily Star equivalent level of 'journalism' are embarrassing and not in keeping with the BBC and its remit to provide neutral, balanced and informed comment. Hull has decided not to bother with them which is Hull's prerogative. There are other ways of communicating with the fans, better ways than ever infact, and RH is now no more than a side show in that respect.

You wanna talk about 'petty'.....Then ask Shaun Briscoe the reason he wasn't allowed to attend a charity Question of Sport night a few weeks ago.

Gwilym Lloyd is OK and has been known to stick up for Hull. Craig Murdoch, Lee Richardson and Mike White are always fair. Over at Look North, Damian Johnson and Simon Clarke are good presenters.

Your right, in fact the World as the Aussie clubs dont pay anywhere near the money they do here but there is one job here and two jobs there he would take a pay cut for so it does not mean he is never, ever gonna walk away.



Fact is if there is no dip in form this year and Rovers win the CC or get to the GF and a certain boring Kiwi keeps taking his side backwards there may be a chance of a reshuffle

I'd say it was TBH. It may have been intended to targeted at Reardon or the club, but it did end up treating the whole topic as something to be joked about.



Ill advised is the least it could be called.

It is the fact that it is the Sports Editor we are talking about that makes this the issue that it is IMO. If any one of the underlings were involved I doubt it would carry the same gravity. He even embarrased his colleagues on this one. I'm sure if he was taken out of the picture the whole level of RH sports presention would improve tenfold.

The club should not be in that postion to have the p!$$ taken out of it!

There is presently much frustration in the FC boardroom... perhaps the banning of the BBC is as much to do with the performance of Rule and Co as much as the comments which have been used as the reason.

Possibly the greatest manager this country has ever seen in sport, Alex Ferguson has spent his career banning press and media, without any real ridicule.

OK you can't compare HFC with Man Utd but there are similarities. It has never affected Ferguson and in the same way this will not affect HFC. I only hope they stick to their guns and don't allow them back in again, unlike after the Cookie fiasco.



The club are communicating with us more than ever before. They have a great association with KCFM. James Smailes seems to be on side for us in the HDM. So not talking to the amateurs at RH is really not going to be affecting us fans in any great way.
