I wonder if it has anything to do with the club he plays for, some super league clubs seem to have better relationships with lower league clubs then others, stab in the dark but it's baffling when the club have said they have looked in the lower leagues yet he is the stand out candidate in my opinion.

All we need is some quality cover for the 1, 6, 7, 9 positions. Tansey, Horne, Long, Houghton, Westerman will still be our main 2011 spine!!
