As I put yesterday, he's got to follow a coach who doesn't play to his strenghs or play him in his position!

I suppose that if it was his only genuine option then he had little choice. Beats playing part-time in the Championship and having to get a proper job i suppose.

He's a pudding and a windy one at that, as he proved yesterday. He shat himself when confronted by someone of equal stature. He won't be missed by me.

Fair comment...However I actually think his natural aggression has been coached out of him, he equalled if not bettered the ground made by most of our other forwards yesterday. I personally believe coached well he will be the handful we hoped he would be for us.

All clubs sign 'rubbish' players now and again. Has always happened and most likely always will. Nobody gets it right 100% of the time.

Just shows the moaning culture on this board, all season people have moaned about mediocrity and average players, we officially release 4 of the most average players we have (although I do think Lauaki will go well at Wigan because they'll use him properly) and people are still complaining. Dowes and Washy would struggle to make the grade at any club that finished higher than us and Phelps always knew he was here for just a year, especially after we signed McKinnon. AP has got the club going forward in ways others haven't seen before so now people on this board are just finding stupid things to moan about.
