Talk about grinding out a win, it made our 2016 victory look like a stroll in the park!!
Congratulations to our red & white brethren, been a long time between drinks.
Thought their defence won it for them when Wire had that spell of pressure, but couldn't finish them off.
Warrington almost looked like they didn't care if they scored or not. Needed to take more chances to actually kill the game off. Instead they were happy to play out their set, take a minute off the clock and then either win a drop out or just pin them down.
For 78 minutes it worked really well, just a high tackle on the last tackle has probably cost them the cup. Tough one for them to take no doubt.
