Doesn?t play many minutes atm but when he took a hit up he was very strong and difficult to put down. Good metres after contact.

Defence is a worry and something he needs to work on.


Like him though and would keep him if Wigan release him.

Thought about this myself but Jed is by far our best second rower. A really really good player, just can't get a good run of games going. Would be gutted if we let him go but would fully understand the reasoning. But ultimately I don't think we will release him anyway.

He was massively fatigued yesterday but  had clearly put his hand up to play long minutes. I think his wire performance is more of an indicator of his undoubtedly quality

Knight was absolutely gassed yesterday, think he played the entire first half and about 30 mins second half, he and Herman both played big minutes (which would have really reduced their impact as the game went on).

All stemmed from Chamberlain going down early. No doubt Ashworth playing at prop would have reduced the minutes Herman and Knight needed to do. As it turned out Ashworth probably our best player but puts more stress on Herman and Knight, who now have to back it up again against Wigan next week which will be a massive task. Could do with Watts coming back in.
