The defeat is disappointing, but the score line is better than I thought it would be at one point so weren’t too far away. An improvement also versus last time we were humiliated by Salford. I hope things are starting to mend, it’s hard to say. If we can win next time out then Lasty has a chance to continue and maintain and even improve our form. But things are on a knife edge I think, and if he loses next time out his future as head coach has to be in doubt. The present Covid climate and uncertain times restricting any move for a replacement coach may be Andy’s saviour. But then there is always Purtill, though he’s already been overlooked once.
We and Last desperately need a win next time out or the season is over.
