I have read every diary since I joined this forum and have enjoyed every edition, it is clear and never subjective which adds to the quality for the reader.
For this season we have reasons to be cheerful -:
a) Top of the league
b) Cup semi-final
c) Top quality team
d) Best fans in the league
congratulations wilf for the 500th edition of the marvellous diary, always a brilliant read, and no kidding its like seeing my thoughts on everything hull fc written down! how do you do that! haha. I liked the bit about not really believing what is happening at the moment, as I just keep getting the league table up on the screen and staring at it, what a saddo eh lol. to be honest after beating rovers 4 times, saints 3 times, Catalans 3 times, wire twice, and wigan at their place, anything else is a massive bonus. but of course it would be fantastic to lay the Wembley hoodoo to rest wouldn't it heres hoping, coyh
Well done Wilf on reaching number 500. This is the epitome of "a labour of love" and we're all grateful to you for sharing it with us. Like you I've reached "a certain age" and I'm desperate to get back to Wembley and come home with the cup. Given a choice between that and a Grand Final it would be Challenge Cup every time, having been to every final in London since 1960. Lets hope that the current crop are the boys to finally make our dream come true.
Once again thanks for the first 500 and lets hope the next 500 is full of the successes that we all crave.
Many congratulations on reaching this 500th milestone. It's testimony to the passion that you show for our beloved club and loyal supporters. Living away means that the Dentist's Diary is something that I look forward to reading each and every week.
Supporting Hull F.C is like being on a rollercoaster: let's hold on tight and enjoy the ride as winners for the remainder of this season and hope our winning habit stays with us for years to come!
