I know a lot of fans from other clubs on the VT have us around 8th. Only a couple have us around 5th.

Indeed. If he has us playing like we did last year then opposition defenses can have a rest against us and we'll be lucky to limp into the top 8. Even Frank isn't going to improve our results if we move the ball so slowly that there are four defenders waiting for him every time.

Our optimism, such as it is, rests on Radford having got better at his job.

A lot of mine is based on having a much better squad.

That's how I read it tbh. We have a really good squad and Radders will certainly have a selection headache most weeks. Especially choosing the wingers, prop, back row and who's on the bench.
