| Thanks for this weeks diary Wilf, If it was needed Friday night demonstrated why we are fans, you attend out of a sense of duty, you expect nowt and then the final hooter sounds and it's cloud nine. Yes I will renew my pass, I was always going to.

| Pass renewed and faith (almost) restored.
Thanks for the diary Wilf, must have been a pleasure to write and it was certainly a pleasure to read this week.

| Thanks again Wilf for an entertaining read. I normally agree with you 95% of the time. But I guess this is one of those rare occasions. Re your comment.
I guess that the message is that if you have simply had enough and are genuinely bored with it all, then you have every right not to renew, but if you still care about the Club and are just ‘voting with your wallet’, in an effort to show some dissent against the current administration, the Coach or the players, then it could well be a self deprecating move.
I have read what also followed this paragraph. I do however have to challenge. Adam would lose massively if he decided to bail following poor season pass sales. It wouldn't make sense, therefore I feel not purchasing a pass is a "safe" way to make a point. He's had it his own way since he arrives (which is his right). But he has to understand that we're not all insane, as in the definition of doing the same thing and expecting a different result". He has to start delivering behind his own hype. When he does I'm confident the crowds will swarm back. Which will demonstrate what a great business Hull FC is.
I feel it's even more important to make a stand/point because he is a 1 man board. We need to snap him out of his current transfixed state. Arrogance can be an demonstration of confidence or a damaging trait.
But hey, we're all entitled to our own opinions.
Keep up the great work Wilf.

| Fully agree Yorkie. We have blindly (well some of you have) followed for many years now. Our average gates remain high in comparison to other teams, with the exception of Leeds and Wigan and yet we have been rewarded with very little. Okay Wembley a few times but come on, the lows far outweigh the highs.
Adam is taking the Sky money which I doubt will drop as viewing figures remain at good levels. If he wants to make a success of his time at HFC he has to deliver on the park. We will not simply follow and wait. From the outside he is perilously close to falling into Kath's trap of simply expecting the faithful to roll up week in week out ( and let's face it it's only 13 weeks out of 52 so it is easy to be distracted). I may be wrong but that's the perception. People are starting to question his running of the club. A small number possibly (or is it the silent majority) but it's starting. History tells us the club looks over the cliff edge but always seems to be pulled back. That's the nature of sport and HFC. So we will have a club. But what we have now is a solid foundation that's has to be built on, not destroyed every 12 months by yet another theory.
A victory over Rovers once a season will not lift the gloom for very long.
I am sure many will renew, based on yet more potential, but we have to hit the ground running right from the first pre season friendly. The gloom started this year in pre season and continued from there. If 2015 starts slowly then the Good Friday (or will it be Thursday or Saturday...) derby may well be a historical one for all the wrong reasons again.
Thanks as always Wilf for the diary. Onwards and upwards.

| Thanks for your efforts Wilf. As always a good and interesting read. Whilst I agree to some extent with the previous two posters, I think we should also consider our form in the last month and, apart from our brainfart at Bradford, I found it very encouraging. OK the season overall has been poor but for me there are enough signs, especially with our new signings, to suggest that next season will be much better than this (I agree it can't be any worse). At one point I was considering not renewing my pass but as usual I'll be coughing up and turning up. Lets all keep the faith.
