Good wingers win games. Also often your top meter makers and are massively scrutinised during a game ie decisions/ commit to tackle/stay out,high ball pressure and need to be able to finish half chances. Dont get the thinking that you should build a decent team and then scrimp on wingers!!

Seems a night for first time posters,the main problem still remains we must sign one or two half backs,horne showed he had some mileage left,but how long is he going to stay fit, the jury is still out on rankin,but miller is just not good enough.

It's not that black and white imo. Talanoa does indeed lack in certain areas, but he is a perfectly adequate Superleague winger. Add in the fact that, given where we got him from, he won't be on a big wage and he is a good guy to have.

Now if there was anything in the Koroibete rumour (it doesn't seem likely now) for example, then yes we should go for him, because he is a very good winger who again won't command a massive wage. However we shouldn't spend big money on a top name when, a) We have other areas to prioritise, and b) We have 3 perfectly good wingers already.

Just my opinion, I'm sure others might disagree.
