It's not that black and white imo. Talanoa does indeed lack in certain areas, but he is a perfectly adequate Superleague winger. Add in the fact that, given where we got him from, he won't be on a big wage and he is a good guy to have.
Now if there was anything in the Koroibete rumour (it doesn't seem likely now) for example, then yes we should go for him, because he is a very good winger who again won't command a massive wage. However we shouldn't spend big money on a top name when, a) We have other areas to prioritise, and b) We have 3 perfectly good wingers already.
Just my opinion, I'm sure others might disagree.
