Technically the decision was correct as whiting pushed their player. The annoying thing is that it would probably have been given had it happened the other way round. It was certainly not a call I would like to have made.

Why would they?
The refs are that pi55poor they would not have enough time in any given week.
Plus we ALL know they are never wrong because they don't work to rules but to 'interpretation'.

Pee poor decision for me, defo a try, to be fair whiting gave slight push but did it stop Atkins getting the ball ? I don't think it did so try for me, I don't think the video ref would have given it any other way if it had been a top four team, if you do get in the top four would you have made that same comment ? I doubt it

When Briscoe kick ahead the 2 player were pushing and shoving but Briscoe got to the ball .Now what if he had been pushed off the ball would a penalty try been given .The video ref would have said both players were challenging for the ball( just my opinion) no try .Not a big fan of today ref they are not consistent each have their own laws and rules

The Linesmen should be given more 'power' to make judgements that the ref cant see. I was livid last night seeing Tom's try chalked off........ it was well worked and executed. The linesmans flag wasnt even flinching..... he saw nothing wrong, that should be enough. But i agree.... todays bunch of whistle blowers are doing nothing to promote our sport. sometimes they make it confusing !!!!
