theres a lot of leeds utd fans in hull used to get a coach from hull to leeds games a few years ago and on pearson the leeds rumour has been going around for about 5 years now i cant see it myself

Try 10 years, he wanted Leeds before he bought Hull City. The only way he can buy them now is through a consortium, luckily for us Ken Bates' greed will stop Leeds being sold for a reasonable price as such any potential buyers (including our owner) will be put off.

Couldn't he buy (be part of a consortium) at Leeds and own FC? He is a football man at heart and will want to be back in at some point but why would that have a knock on to you lot?
