Apart from Saints away last year he hasn't impressed me TBH, when teams learnt how to tackle him he's not had the same impact. Yes he's currently keeping his lunatic tendencies in check but for how long?
My mate and I commented at Friday's game about Lauaki's body language...in our eyes he doesn't look or appear to be playing like someone chomping at the bit for a new contract.
If Expro is right and the club do really rate him, then for me this is a massive concern. We should be saving that quota spot and getting a UK based player for less salary but similar quality next year.
Lauaki seems to have had his 'aggression'' removed,which in a sense is a shame,as yes,he was a liability,but he was certainly more powering,and teams were more wary of him.
