Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com

| 1. R.Horne- Think a switch to full back could do him some good, safe under high ball will give him more space to work
2. W.Sharp- Strong, fast and a proper winger
3. T.Briscoe- Think its time to give him a run at centre, strong, quick and is physically built like a centre
4. K. Yeaman- Still among the best centres in the league, very strong and tackles anything just needs to pass more
5. R.Lyne- As other posters have said could work very well with Yeaman as Yeaman is very strong in defence
6. J.Tansey- Very creative player needs to get his hands on the ball more
7. S.Long- Leader, organiser, very creative and has a good kicking game
8. E.Dowes/new prop- Solid in defence, offers lots of graft and always puts in 100%
9. S.Berrigan- Could get back to his best with less pressure on his shoulders and can spell Houghton
10. M.O'Meley- The guy is massive for us in the best 3 props in super league, enforcer with storming runs and big hits
11. D.Tickle- Goalkicking master, runs good lines and hits hard
12. W.Manu- Must be the strongest player in super league breaks tackle after tackle, hits hard aswell
13. Sir C.Fitzgibbon- Machine is everywhere during matches and a real leader of men
14. R.Whiting- Mr reliable can cover most positions very well
15. D.Houghton- Come on leaps and bounds this year fast out of dummy half and tackles well above his weight
16. S.Moa- Quality impact prop runs very hard and scatters opposition does a very good stint in defence aswell
17. E.Lauaki- The ultimate loose cannon very unpredictable, love him.
18. J.Turner- Good cover for centre, loose man and off half
19. D.Washbrook- Cover for loose man and emergancy half back
20. M.Burnett- Cover for S/R
21. D.Nicklas- Cover for H/B
22. J.Briscoe- Good prospect clubs new full back in a year or two
23. L.Kent- Cover for S/R
Need to bring in at least one new prop and some proper half back cover.

No you don't.

The way we play isn't going to break us into the top 2 IMO. We haven't scored more than 50 all season, with an extra ball handler in the side adding creativity should allow us to do this.

Having a settled half back partnership would be a better idea.
Not having 4 ball handlers on the pitch.

It would, but with Horne and Long's injury records that is unlikely. With the size of our likely pack, another pair of hands will allow us to get better service to the wings, and allow us to change the focus of the attack.

I fully agree.
Mainly as i wouldnt class Horne as a ball handler anyway at 6. He's very much a running attacking option with a decent short kicking game.
