Gutted for Rich Whiting, total pro and has been outstanding all season. For me he has one of the best rugby brains in the SL and reads the game so well; he's a huge loss to us.



Calderwood - I think people underestimate how much we've missed him, he creates tries and has that individual attacking flair that we've missed a few times this season; I reckon if he'd been fit all year we'd have scored a lot more tries down the right side. If you look at the try he created for Berro on Thursday night, I'm not sure we'd have scored that with Whiting or Hall on the wing (although I accept that Hall probably would have scored the one Calders bombed!).



If the club can negotiate a [i'pay as you play'[/i type of deal or even sign him up on a 1 yr cheap deal with a 2nd year bonus option (should he stay fit) then I'd liketo see us keeping him.

Horne to fullback, Tansey at 6 with Berro. Or, try Berro at fullback for a bit of a laugh, and put Tansey at 7. Berro at Fullback for masterstroke of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thursday's giddiness has yet to subside, I see.
