Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com
Yes it was. Or, at least, it could've been. He didn't go through Long, Long put his arm across the Catalans player (Carlaw, bizarrely on the wing, I think) just as Manu was making the hit. No blame can be apportioned for that. Manu regularly stays a couple of yards back from the first chaser so he can come forward and meet the kick-returner as they're slowing and bracing for the impact from the first man (Long, in this case). It was just unfortunate that Long had his arm across in exactly the wrong spot.
Quote="Big Dave T"Sorry you're wrong. Most of his games for Oz he came off the bench and played 9. He occasionally moved to 13 or 6 but has never ever played 7!
