Hello everybody.
For quite a few years a few of us have been coming across from the dark side ( stockport,sthelens),staying at the Royal having a great time in hull then to the saints match, most are saints fans.
This year my 60th, I bring a dozen grumpies to hull on friday,staying at the royal then at 2pm hitting the seven real ale pubs near silver st ( walters, nellies, blackboy white hart george 3john scott etc,etc.
toby chip shop then match then wellington hopefully after.
Every time I come across I have had a great time everybody friendly.
I writing to say if any of you are in the area friday afternoon, evening and see a group of grumpy old men in a few saints shirts poss then please come across and say hello you will be most welcome..
2 or 3 are sale sharks fans and wont come and see league probably sulk in some restaurant I know it is embarassing, they need persuading.
Also we need a real ale pub an the walk down to the ground any ideas.
Prob road down from the wellington end of shopping mall.
again looking forward to coming across. I think it is your turn to give us a a good hidding but..........

The suprising think that I did not realise when I was 20,30,etc was I still go out with my mates to the pub as i have always done even 30 yrs later, you dont feel any different , look different!!!!!!!!!! keep young at all times.
The return on saturday is even more pubs in dewsbury, leeds huddersfield stalybridge then to cap it all stockport beer festival
This is the great thing about away matches, you visit some great pubs and people.
Strangly at hullKR there is only the one real ale pub, I think the falcon.CAMRA calls it " the real ale desert that is east hull.^
