Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com

| Quote shaun384="shaun384"Agree with u but we need to chant at the right time
Near try line could chant
Attack,
Attack,
Attack, Attack, Attack, (repeated)
Mean machine, (repeated) think this will lift the like off O'Meley, Lauaki, Moa, Fitzgibbon
Try time (repeated)
If where wining then could chant
It's all gone quiet over there,
All gone quiet over there,
All gone quiet,
All gone quiet,
It's all gone quiet over there
Old faithful (during the games)
I only think “come on you Hull" should be done when we are losing as the way we chant it is slow and then we let the players know that we need better let try and get the best and loudest supporters’ in the league this season with the passes sold there will be a good turnout most home game we need to chant more in the south stand. Was in there Sunday me and my kids was chanting all throw the game but only when east stand started did south stand if we chant at the right time then we all know when to chant then we all chant at the same time'" Spot on mate

...and/or Fri and some Saturday night games are just too much for families and people who have to work. This is where family meets corporate.

Yup, have to agree, it's kind of two fingers to anyone much further away than Leeds, but it seems to be working in terms of season passes and corporates, so as a business decision it's fairly sound.

not so sure on that one
when we first moved to the KC prices were cheaper, but away crowds weren't massively different (even on sunday afternoons)
the only clubs capable of bringing a decent following are Leeds, Rovers, Bradford, Warrington, Saints, Cas and Wakefield. The others still woulden't bring big numbers if the price was £1.

| Quote ComeOnYouUll="ComeOnYouUll"No, he's far better looking than me.
Threepenny lost much of it's magic when the capacity was cut (I'm talking before the old stand was demolished). We've often had a far better atmosphere at the KC than in the last few years at The Boulevard.
I just fail to see how a "singing block" works. People will sing if they want to or not as the case may be. I find the idea a bit embarrassing to be honest.'"
I disagree, if you look in football many of them have "unofficial" singing blocks. For example places like QPR and Notts forest have the X (not sure what letter) block were people will go and start the singing, which usually leads to the rest of the ground singing. Threepenney may have gone down pan towards the end but it certainley got more people singing and learning the songs. The KC atmosphere is rubbish , ok it may be louder at times but thats just people making any old noise, old faithful is an embarrassment when sung now and the only song we can finish is come on you hull.
Untill we as fans get our acts together and start getting behind the team vocally as we use to the KC will not fruitate as a fortress. Lets be honest if we go 6-0 down the place becomes a morgue, not everyone has the confidence to just get up in the middle of nowhere and start singing on there own. Thats why we are better at away games because everyone is grouped together and usually people will join in, I don't believe the answer is people will sing if they want to.

I was talking about this last night, I think it would be the best way for the club to get a bit of atmosphere within the KC. A takes a lot to get that stadium echoeing, yet it could be easily done!!! If it's explained to the fans (i.e. which block and what the idea is) I think it'd be very succesful, definitely something I think could be approached with to the club.
