For the first time in 35 years I have the opportunity to go watch my beloved Hull Fc and are not going to go, not because I don't want to go but because I cannot see the team that i love so much being made into a laughting stock anymore.
Early in the season I backed the team and even posted on here to get behind them, well we all did and over 10000 gate week in week out says it all, I even backed Agar ( I know stop laughing) but no more.
To drop Mark on saturday was the last straw for me, yes Tom is an excellent player but not match fit and he plays his first game in the strenght sapping heat of southern France, unbelievable.
While I am on I would like to thank Wilf for another fantastic piece of writing and also would like to thank all the fans who are going and wish they come away with something to cheer about. I know I will get some on here saying I am not a true fan for not going but hey I have put my time in and everyone who knows me, knows how much I love my club.
What am I going to do instead, well I am going to take my family out for a nice meal instead (and probably try to sneak a radio in)

Thats exactly how I feel and we won't be going either (four of us). Tried to give our passes away, but just got laughed at. Sad times  | | |

I have also chose not to use my season pass for the last two games. Fridays are a nightmare for me to take off work so I don't see the point of putting myself through anymore of that rubbish this year, coming home in a bad mood and wasting a night off work. I have put myself through too much home and away this year, we turned up at Wakey knowing exactly what was going to happen, then I still gave them a chance and went to Cas (even said before game we all must be idiots to turn up and as fans we gave them as much encouragement as was humanly possible until we went 24-0 behind). Huddersfield at home must be the lowest I have felt in ten years at rugby, the whole evening from pre-match drinks was depressing as everyone new the outcome before a ball had been kicked.
So thats my season over. See you in 2010, I will be renewing my pass as usual.
PS Good luck Rovers in the play-offs!!
