I've only ever seen 3 fully grown Maine Coon males to date and they weighed 15, 19 & 21lbs. At those sizes domestic cats are quite imposing. Call me a PUSSY-CAT but I was actually too scared to go in the cat pens the first time I went to look at some. They are far more agile than normal house cats and were jumping from one side of the pens to the other causing one a hell of a din.

Their heads aren't much smaller than a Staffy's head. I think that's what makes me a bit nervy around them.

update on smokie he's been to the vets,

the vet says he's ok but looks very malnourished but he will put his weight back on,



this friday he has an op to remove a damaged tooth and will have a scale and polish
