That bloke who used to stand outside Taylor's furniture shop on Northgate flogging the Evening Post for a start. He'd be able to shift a few more copies.

i used to deliver the papers there along with the bus station and the bull ring, from the office in Wood St after I'd done my shift at Ings Rd school, incidentally Taylor's was the first job I had when I left Ings Rd, as an apprentice upholsterer I was that good at it they put me on the vans delivering furniture

I didn't know that Barnsley Gull had retired though

I remember going with my mother to Taylor's to pay our tv rental. How times have changed.

Cost mate, I think you need to sell so many before you get one of those natty little barcodes that get it into shops.



You are probably onto something with selling it on the streets on a Saturday though you may need some kind of licence. Wisca was great for that kind of thing, may be with resurrecting in some form or other. Now for the tricky bit, any volunteers?

Remember JH Taylors well, wayne. Had a few items of furniture from there in my time; on the never never. I believe the family who owned the shop lived on Bradford Road.

As for shifting copies of the Trinity mag it could be sold in the way that the programmes were . ie one or two sellers situated near the ground on Donny Road or outside the cemetery.

My cousin worked at Taylor's for quite a few years until it went.

If I cast my mind back many years I recall a lot of fans used to park on Sugar Lane and walk through the graveyard to BV.
