I remember when wakey were still planning on moving to thornes park, a number of wakey fans tried to convince me that cas werent getting a ground and we were going to have to move into to thornes park. It didnt ring true then and it doesnt ring true now.



I dont know why your so desperate for us to move into your ground (unless thats the only way you can get one) as cas fans dont really want wakey moving into our new ground.

What pyeman is trying to tell you is that a liesure company called surf world have agreed to locate to their stadium site. He will also have been told that this will secure their funding and work on their stadium will now start.

so that's good news for them, will they come with life guards in case they sink

I really can't see surfworld being a knight in shining armour for Cas to be honest, not that I'm in the know - far from it! Why do they need us? Surely they could build the thing without Cas Tigers. It's not as if there's no room at the site. That said I hope I'm wrong.

You may be correct, but one thing is for sure, just watch Richard Wright crank up the spin and use their presence to buy a lot more time and to give the impression that things are starting to happen.

I'm impressed prince buster, its not often on here anyone gets anything remotley right about the cas stadium. One thing though work as in building will work wont be starting until the full designs have been drawn up (with surfworld incorporated) building should begin late 2010 as i understand it.

I thought it was just going to be a development on the same site.



If I am wrong and the stadium and surf world will be a joint develpment it will be interesting to see how they both fit together.

As i understand it, it hasnt been finalised yet but i believe they are looking at building the surfworld onto the stadium yes.

No we are using jcb's for our stadium, they tend to get the job done quicker

Classooms.gyms,conference facilities, even a pool like at shudds, I can see how you fit all those in to a stadium. Something as big as a surf world can't go under a stand surely it must be built next to the stadium.



Anyway I look forward to seeing the design must be something special.

Hopefully it will be, when the stadium is built its going to be a very attractive family day out with skiing, surfing, shopping, bowling, lazertag, arcades, pubs, places to eat, cinema, climbing walls and more to come. All that and the best transport links of any rugby league ground. Exciting times ahead.
