But i dont think wilkes is the answer, But like i say if he does sign, i hope he proves me wrong, and ill give him my full support like i always do whoever put that red/white and blue shirt on

I don't think Wilkes is the answer and if he is I don't want to know the question. We as a club can't afford a team of stars nor have we got the depth of young players to fill all the gaps. Hence we need good solid journeymen to fill in the gaps. In which case Wilkes is tried and tested in our case especially as there will be enough people still at the club who he knows which again helps. He will do for me as a squad player.

I agree with you entirely, Wilkes is the sort of player every team needs. If you look at all the more successful teams they have players like Wilkes who may not be flash but do the hard yards. Mossop at Wigan and Grix at Warrington spring to mind.

Add Paul Wood to that list.

In all fairness to mossop I think he's a bit better than that. If I had the pick of all wigans props he'd be my choice.

Think I would have Lima myself. He may be a dirty bar steward but he is bloody good.
