You'd be surprised what can be built in a week, and here its pouring concrete so no super structure to construct. Not heard anything anything re the terracing in front of the hospitality blocks other than the initial contract award.

There was a mini excavator parked in the South East corner today so it looks like they are on with that too

However, I wouldn't be surprised, further dowm the line, to see something more permanent there, to incorporate a stand or terrace, mixed in with offices/hospitality. Like thats being previously mentioned, the Benidorm flats were meant to be a temporary measure



That though costs time and more importantly money.

Once the west is done and the south east, club shop/cafe it’s going to be a nice tidy stadium. A base we can truly build from.

They may have started that way but the flats are pretty permanent now.

He wouldn't be adding a lift and refurbing it if he had plans to remove it.

the East stand hospitality is going to look awesome when refaced after that over charged botch job morgan Sindall did.

Does God know something the rest of us don’t. I have not heard anything regarding work on East Stand hospitality.

The work has started in corner already the plans look amazing chandeliers panelled walls etc, havent any of you took a trip to the biggest kitchen showroom in the uk (South Kirkby) to see what design flare the Ellis family has you owe it to them to buy a kithchen

they would have never done a hospitality suite out like a council office. Even if you u saw their various office premises they are so good.

Love the comment that job has grown arms and legs, having attended some supporter sessions and listening to Matt there is no surprises there!

Revision to the gantry position. Less imposing on the houses behind, steeper incline of the roof. Also the roof of the original section is proposed to be redone. Still not sure how permanent this solution is but I guess with the objections it may be harder to get anything other than this passed.

As I pointed out with the previous plans, it was impossible for the gantry to be accommodated in that design.



This is a far neater solution and will look better also.

Although not shown, I wonder if a reprofile of the existing terracing is on the cards ala the NS.

It doesn’t look that way. Think I mentioned it when the plans went up there looks to be nothing to suggest that the bottom area will be raised or the terrace reprofiled.



Seems like these adaptations to original gantry will cut down some space in the office/gantry area. I do like the idea of a raised roof angle though.
