You may be right, let’s just wait until the club are asking for further monies from the fans for example the suggested shares scheme. Perhaps then the club will start communicating, but we might have to wait a while until they even get the club website sorted. Something is wrong within the club, I don’t know if it’s the Generals or the troops.

You better mention the mystery water pipe that was unearthed that was part of that unforeseen expense.

Perfect example, though I’d assume there is a contingency for this kind of thing, but ouch.

There is a limit as to what you can expect the club to communicate and I don’t see a pile of asbestos and the cost of removing it as one of those.

At fans forum Mr Carter said they had found some more asbestos and it was costing the club 60,000 to remove get a few more problems like that and it starts adding up the cost

Just driven down Donny road now, frameworks have been added to the back of the stand now to give it some depth, started about 10yds (I think) from the start of the metal frame at the North stand end. I’m guessing this is gonna be offices, entrance, corporate etc. I was in moving traffic so couldn’t take photos

Not much gets past you squire, it was mentioned at the Monday night forum as you have correctly guessed, what I was surprised about was that nothing was mentioned about it by those on here that attended, I certainly didn't post it to get one over you if that's what you think, the reference to the asbestos and it's removal cost was in the context of another post, sorry if it upsets you that the club did not inform you personally, but if it's any consolation he doesn't confide in me neither, chin up.

From first row terrace to stairwell/lift shaft 31.7 to 33 metres.( one of the measurements line doesn’t show to this wall) North stand application drawings from Oct 2011, very basic, shows height of 9 metres @ the front, from the middle walkway. It doesn’t show the length, and there is a sort of sketch for the western terrace development but as I say, very basic drawings. When Mr Carter said Asbestos problem getting sorted ,problem gone .Mr Carter did say the club were working on a plan to get fans and businesses to invest in the club and when it was sorted he would let people know.It is not to build the East Stand ,The pitch, the North stand, or the screen .The club are after grade A .so may be some things to do with that .Think those in charge of the club have done a great job in the worst recession since the 50\60 .Some so called fans just find faults with everything, about time they got behind the club .No I am and when asked will try to help them out

I think its important to note that the club is a business and as fans we are customers of that business.



the business is owned by the Directors and they are the ones legally responsible for ensuring the business is viable (and ultimately growing)... again ... as fans we love the club and want to know everything, but there is no (given) right to know everything. Only buying a place on the board will enable that right!



it, of course, makes sense to involve the fan base as much as is reasonably possible... but we shouldn't expect every administrative, or operational decision is put on the big screen for peer review.

Just as a general comment, I reckon 100k would get you a seat on the board. Obviously you be a junior shareholder but you’d be there.



For most trinity fans, myself include, that’s out of the question. However my bet is that there are a surprising number of fans for who that isn’t a huge amount.



As for a more modest shareholding and thus the right to attend an AGM. Then I suggested £500 - £1000 blocks. Again I know that precludes most fans, though not me (just).



That money will be used to help get a grade A.



When you look at it logically, it’s actually far more logical to guarantee SL by spending it on the ground than the players, players are unreliable. I’m not saying this is right, but if the IMG plans are implemented then surely it’s the way to go.



FWIW, I believe it will cost 1-2 million to get a grade A.



I’d hope that with both methods we could raise 500k. Hopefully we could borrow the rest, using the increased land value at BV as collateral. We may also be able to obtain some form of grant should we install a football team. This by the way is just me doodling, I have no idea if any of this is possible.

I guess we'll find out what those numbers are when Minnards is ready with his share scheme.

Any word on the buy a brick scheme? It's obviously not going to make a dent in the development costs, but might be more affordable for fans who are able to contribute but don't have a few hundred pound spare?

They had one years ago I remember buying a brick with the family name on if I remember correctly the wall was downstairs somewhere near where the changing rooms are now, not sure it still even exists.

I thought MC had mentioned they would be looking to do it.
