Not sure threads like this need to be locked and deleted as they fizzle out themselves as this one is as more contributors add their points of view of which most people think its a non story really. Kind of self regulating.

We'll only have a full salary cap that means anything in SL.

If we dont get a franchise we'll be able to spend over the top of NL1, but I dont think JK is a league 1 coach.

What is it with people,putting 2&2 together and coming up with 5.when we are trying to get some stability in the club crap like this is thrown about.stop searching for a cheap story,we all know J.K is a outstanding coach and could coach any super league team so to say he will jump ship is not what we want to hear ,let's focus on the season ahead .....As you can tell I'm annoyed by the post.

Hasn't he applied for every head coaching job going in SL the last 2 years? I tell you what something like this thread might cause the club to release a statement saying 'Kear is staying put, he's in it for the long haul' and that might make the unit even stronger.

I'd suggest that we'd have one of the biggest budgets in the league and Kear's tactics could well prove a bit of a leveller in the lower divisions, in much the same way that it is a leveller in SL but in reverse.



Don't get me wrong, I am a fully paid up member of the J.K. Fan Club, but thinking logically, im not sure if he'd be the coach i'd choose to lead us, should we get the chop.

It’s high time the Muppets who run SL made an announcement ref Super League licences for the next 3 years.

It’s not fair on the players coaching staff, backroom staff, the clubs or the fans it’s a complete bloody farce

And JK would go with my best wishes too...and licensing is a nightmare and WRONG. But what can you do? We have an entire season of a sport reduced to a rumour mill, guessing game and beauty contest. How did this great sport come to this?
