About to start MORE ground works (East stand in the next couple of weeks with the new north stand started middle of next season as we already have our planning permission.).
Plus we have already laid a new pitch, had the floodlights upgraded, already extended the east stand once (It still isnt big enough which is the reason for ANOTHER extension) all in the time or just before we have been in SL which is only 4 years.
As well as us and them having the only cross city derby in the top end of the game (Yes I know Cas is in Wakey but lets not be silly before someone does.).
Are they enough reasons for you?
My point is that IMHO it isn't only your ground that is causing you problems sorry to say as I like Wakey. |

Building work is due to start on the 9th November.
The tendoring process has been wittled down to two and the winner should be announced any day. |

I wouldn't mind us having to play at Oakwell for a period of time if it meant that we could preserve our Super League status although i hope that it is not an issue and Newmarket gets the go-ahead on Friday.
