Thursday sees the official unveiling of the mural depicting the History of WTW which was made using the work of local children during the year long residency of Jason Wilsher Mills. After the last round of financial difficulties I thought it would never happen but Michael Carter said he would see that it was put up and this morning I saw it in all its glory. Thank you MC! Look out for it when you go down on Thursday - its right along the back of the East/Centre Stand.

Great news. I work at a school that took part in the project. Good to see it finally happening.

If those are correct ones (featuring the likes of Billy Batten) then I'll have to pain you and inform you I helped make those at the print company I work at .......Leeds Rhinos fan hands all over that classic Wakey history

It's been the first time I've posted on here for more than a year, and it will be a first time I've been to Belle Vue on Thursday this season, so it's going to be an emotional night for me. Having my family there and seeing the mural on the wall.



Thank you to all those who have supported me and helped me bring the project to a conclusion. Many thanks to Michael Carter, Mark Winder, Andy Morgan for all of their hard work at club, behind the scenes in making this happen.



But special thanks must be paid to the 3000 children who took part in the mural project in Wakefield & Barnsley, and of course to Arts Council England for funding it.



I look forward to meeting up with my friends at the club on Thursday, Snowie, TRB, etc.

Right that's it, I have always enjoyed looking at the blue paint down the east stand and now MC wants to cover it all with childrens drawings of stuff that happened decades ago!!



I have been a fan for 200 years and this has made me question not only my love for the club, but the game, the wife and indeed the world.



So thanks a lot MC, another fan lost to your amateuristic vision for the east stand!

Called this afternoon,looks really good,started to read the captions but the bloody heavens opened.It's also smartened the East Stand walls up.Big well done to all concerned.

Would be difficult to see with fans stood in front. Also could possibly get damaged by people leaning on it.

Absolutely overwhelmed when the family saw the last mural of Jordan,none of us had any idea that he was up there,not even Jordan himself ,A very proud moment for all the Crowther family.Playing for England,in Super League for the club he loves and a 4 yr contract and now this,what a year it's been for him.Thanks again to Jason for a fantastic journey through Trins history and MC for making it all possible.

It's an absolute pleasure. We felt strongly that Jordan was a symbol for a positive future.
