I am in praise of Matt undertaking all this work & improvements with his own money.

I have been reading all they postings, just a thought, the corner current shed roof/stand on the west terrace is quite low in proportion to the east stand & north stand, so when the new longer stand is complete, the stadium may look dis proportiond looking a little peculier ? It also may be quite dark under the stand & out of sunlight most of the time, therefore strip lighting may well be required at times.

However anything is better than what we have now so, onwards & upwards, & many thanks Matt for our new club, up the trin.

Retrospective plans now submitted for the terracing to the front of the hospitality boxes.

just been pulling up some old pictures of Belle Vue - some even before the row of semi-detached houses were built to the west of the stadium by the cemetery. One thing that sticks out to me is the scale of the west stand... it must be three times the height of the adjacent houses... very imposing



I am of an age that I stood in the south stand and along the western terrace, and in crowds of 15,000 plus

That West Stand did make a difference to the balance of the stadium. Hope we can get something back there one day.
