I’d love to see an NRL Live in Aus. That’d do me.'"
Was a member at Sharks for a few seasons when we lived close to the ground… and went to WIN in Wollongong whenever Cronulla played there…
Oddly I’ve never thought the atmosphere matches games in the UK…
Ps my number 10 was fulfilled last night… glitch free coverage from Headingley…'"
Nothing odd at all, you're spot on. I admit that my time living in Oz was ages ago but we supported Manly, who have one of the more atmospheric grounds but it never matched anything I've experienced in the UK. The atmosphere at all but the most exciting games can be very flat. Aussie fans virtually NEVER get behind their team when they are losing, thus you never really get the buzz you do in the British game, Although it's been years since I was last in Oz I can't imagine it's changed much, it's just not in their mindset.
So Pat, I'm sure you'll love what you see on the pitch, but off it you may be slightly underwhelmed.
