If we have a game coming up against Leigh, KR, Salford etc, we should be targeting these as more likely to win.
There would be no point in busting a gut to try and beat a team like Saints, to the detriment of taking points off lower ranked clubs.
Having said that, we're only 2 games in and planning to avoid relegation shouldn't be in anyone's mind just yet but, if things get a bit sticky, later in the season, then, for sure, we should be targeting certain games.
I dont know what targets Chester & Co have set for the season but, they will all be achievable at the moment and we should play accordingly.
The only target that we could have blown, so far, is the "win every game"

We need to target every game as a win. If not we shouldn't even bother as a club or as fans buy season tickets. We are in a relegation battle and need to accept it. We've been poor for two seasons and it's the same core group of players. Bill Shankly had the message to the Liverpool team every year, first target avoid relegation. | | |

Strange how some folk contribute nothing on the team’s performances or strange they’ve no opinion on the coach or the way he’s sending the team out
Strange how some folk are on the attack if anyone as an opinion that questions the running of the club, I also find it strange that certain individuals only appear when these questions are asked to try and stamp on the discontent.

I don't have any financial expertise nor am I privy to the Financial situation at the club so apart from looking for an argument I'm not sure where your going with this, but unlike you I have no bitterness towards the club, and I'm quite happy to believe what Mr Carter says when he says that the club is solvent with day to day running costs, the title of the thread is should we pick our matches, well it's academic to me old boy as I'm a season ticket holder and not one what relies on handouts so should you really be making a comment at all on this thread, there's no need for a reply old boy. | | | |
