A lot of straw men being raised here. No one has ever said that racism is only a white problem. Anyone who suggests this has either led a very sheltered life or is being “anti woke” just to be provocative.



Anyway, back to the stadium - will the club have complete control over its use. Could it be used for outdoor events, concerts, gigs etc in the off-season?

While all that you say is true, the white people that were enslaved, weren't abused purely because of the colour of their skin, which is a HUGE difference.

Look it up, throughout history more white people have been enslaved than black, it's a fact, going right back to ancient Egypt. Africans were not preyed upon because they were black, they were preyed upon because they were defenceless. Had they been white they would still have been enslaved. Like it or not slavery was not about colour but about money and the richest slave traders of all were often rivel black tribes. Nobody can deny being black-skinned played a part but it's only a factor and it's the only thing that differentiates poor black from poor white. So yes there is a difference, but huge, no way. Put a 12-year-old mill worker next to an American negro cotton slave in the early 1800's and you will see very little difference. One is enslaved the other is free in name but in nothing else. Racism is a weapon used by those with an agenda. It's simply a way that the ruling class, black or white, divert attention away from themselves. This is what people mean when they get annoyed that only whites are branded as racist. Go to Rwanda if you want to see an example of black racism or almost any part of India or China etc etc. Racism is very much not an exclusively white occupation. Unfortunately, it's now so politicised as an issue it can no longer be debated seriously. There are apparently no points of compromise anymore, you are either totally BLM anti-racist or you are a racist. No views in between, no looking back at history, no attempt to accept all points of view. Just one or the other, it's tragic how western values of free speech and expression are being destroyed before our very eyes and so many can't see it.
