Forgive me if I'm wrong, as I'm only the chairman of a community club, but aren't they not suppose to make approaches through parents, doesn't a club have to express an interest in a junior player through the RFL?

You always have to go through the coaches before parents when showing interest in players then when a club is making a scholarship offer they must submit it to the RFL who then let the players know, also there is a date when this can be done and not before but all your big clubs abide by this anyway

you’d be surprised at the tactics that they get up to for getting their man.
