Carney is not the sort of player we want at the club imho

You have to wonder why on the face of it why Catalans made no attempt to keep him, admittedly he hasn't had much of a chance at Salford because of the form of Dobson and Lui, can we afford to take the risk and pay the wages you would imagine he'd be wanting, without any guarantee he wouldn't let us down both on or off the field.
Dobson is leaving at the end of the season, so if Carney leaves as well you have to ask yourself why hasn't he been persuaded to stay at Salford.

The list of disgruntled players leaving Salford must be worrying for the coaching staff. Chairman making promises he isn't delivering ?

Could this little exodus from Salford have anything to do with the financial issues they are having with the stadium and council that has been doing the rounds on social media.

Maybe they are having to reduce cap spend to pay some debt off

Dobson has been set on leaving since the start of the season due to him and his wife who have a young family going back to Aus to be with their family. Carney well is Carney. Bar from a few games he's never looked bothered and thought on his name alone he'd walk into the team which he didn't until now with the season ending injury to Dobson. Hardly an exodus compared to previous seasons.
