None and I mean none of this happened as far as I recall though like you I have no actual footage to prove it.
He played about 12 minutes as far as I recall, then damaged his ankle ligaments and left the field and was out for 18 month - something you forget to mention at all. Also is this the Leeds game we won at Headingley 22-14? Personally I don't think he played in that game but I may be wrong as I think he was injured in his BV debut but time plays tricks so if someone else knows. What I do know is he played well enough for the short time he was on the filed. Taylor or "Taz" was part of the great Gibson Parramatta team and was recommended by Ray Price no less. He'd also had two stints at Oldham where he was a fans favourite. He was unlucky but not the worst, try showing some respect by at least telling it how it actually was.'"
Must admit, I was at Paul Taylor's first and only game and apart from wearing headgear and getting helped off the field, don't think he did anything else in his 12 mins.
Seemed to be a solid pro that was good at organising teams and did the unglamorous stuff that doesn't get noticed.
Chris Mortimer got a load of stick at Wakey for doing just this, because he was an Aussie, people expected another Wally Lewis.
