It's a copyright issue so important enough for the site owners to enforce.

Explaining how to access sites, as in you suggesting searching youtube is also against the AUP.
Poptarts right you can on link through to official sites like our own Wildcats TV.
FWIW i think its crazy but we only follow the guidlines.
