Quote asmadasa="asmadasa"Nothing wrong with my memory about Amor either.
I agree with Tryscorer Smith is not another Amor IMHO for this season even when we first signed Amor on loan in 2011. Looks promising though and he is only 20. Amor was 23 when he came to Wakefield on loan (3 years more development for his game) after Leeds and (friendly match or not) he had more impact in contact as could be seen comparing Smith with Tautai and Moore during the match with Leeds on Boxing Day.
I'm not slagging Dan Smith off he looks promising and got through some work and was a willing runner looking to offload which he did on one occasion to good effect I think. As I've said before hope I'm wrong and players like Smith, Walshaw, Trout and Annakin really develop further this year.'"
Again another hindsight view of a player.
Again, you gleamed all this from a boxing day friendly.
Again, I laugh because time and time again these sort of dismissive post end up looking very foolish, but people never learn.
You need to see a young player play for at least half a season before any real judgement can be made as there is no real form to go on.
As for the Hardaker thing, seriously is that the best you have - that can happen to any player big deal. Wallshaw is a giant and a naturally gifted athlete but he has under performed in the last few seasons and it's about time he moved up where as Hardaker has done somewhat better.
