Just had to pop on and ask a question as I'm a bit puzzled.



I thought you had the Audio Description/Commentary service working at Belle Vue, I'm sure if I remember correctly the RFL or RNIB getting the kit for you in 2011???, but just heard from one of our visually impaired spectators that it's no longer available and apparently Bradford's very good (and impartial) commentator won't be allowed to use our kit which he does everywhere else either. It would not have cost anything, except a £5.00 deposit which people get back when we pick the sets back up, and we would have made it available to Wakey fans as well but nothing doing so at least one fan if not more are giving the game a miss.



A bit of a shame really as neither of our Club's needs to be losing spectators do we, does anyone know if your planning top bring it back at some stage?

I'm still willing to do matches but I found out last season that it's a two man job and some club involvement is required.



If it can be sorted, reorganised I'm ready to go.

Sorry Snowie but it isnt that easy, not having a go but I think your comments sum up what people thought, turn up, talk through the game, go home job done, Id include me in this, and I was one of the four. The reality is 4 isnt enough its a 2 man job to commentate the game, another needs to do the sets and liason with the users, so 3 from 4 every week, baring in mind holidays sky games when people work etc etc 4 was simply not enough.

And thats without getting in to the demand marketing booking etc etc as the op said, thats one fan down maybe but actually it was a net loss of 3 as all the volunteers were to get freebies! Again in reality the demand was not there at that time to justify all the organisation needed ie some weeks it wil be NIL.



Fair play to Richard who did some games last year but, and did them well, and fair play to all those of us who tried, but we really did underestimate the task, it was a sunday JOB! nothing less. We are and were all willing but all the support on here in reality turned in to 5 people turning up on the day to be trained of which at least one cannot now do it due to no fault of his own.



Again not having a go, because I know you do a lt for RL generally, so dont take it as such, just trying to redress the balance to implied critisism of those that tried, maybe critisise those that didnt bother?

do you think with the knowledge that you got from the training that you could pass it on to others, that wouldn't need the training costs if so is there anyone else interested in helping

Aren't RLFans trying to get a match coverage/digital radio type thing up and running?

Could this assist with or provide what is required or would it be too general for what is required?

think its a tough call, to do it badly it fairly easy but the 5 who went really wanted to do it well, and that was a comparison in reality with premier league footy, who get 50 or so users a week, we would not, andthen the problem is, is this a walk up service or a book in advance service?



ie we would not want to turn up sunday and have no one, or conversely notturn up and have a demand



huge respect for jason, and indeed richard who somehow managed to listen to himself for 80 mins!!! but more to this than meets the ear, and because of the sensitive nature not always easy to respond to.
