You have answered your own question, park at Headingley station I usually do and walk up. Hope this helps.

Driving up towards Headingley there is a hifi shop and letting agency on the left before the bend. Down the residential street next to it. Never fails for me.

Ok this what know about public transport, my co First are having buses run major routes, from Halifax that's to Leeds and Huddersfield, I do not know if arriva are doing the same, I would think thay are as First drivers working on boxing day are being paid by Metro, it would tell you on the metro website

always use spring rd off cardigan rd, never a problem parking and easy enough to exit after the game
