If Chase plays for England could he still play for New Zealand at a later date?

Yes, in the same way he will have applied to be british he would be able change back i'm sure, he's kiwi after all lol

Well if the Kiwis beat England he could always try and make himself available for the final!

I think the international game lost all creditability long before Chase was selected. Whilst I still think he is the best scrum half in Super League, I believe Brough forfeited his right to play for England when he turned out for Scotland.



The problem for me now is that we have no going back. If the put in some top performances, picking the likes of Chase will be seen as a master stroke, and more Aussies and Kiwis will be encouraged to check their family trees. And if we take a spanking then I can only see more desperation creeping and McNamara and the others will look for a short term fix and the end result will be more foreigners playing for England.



As for internationals, I still think the only way to get the public's imagination is to revert back to Great Britain (and British players) and play the 3 match series against both Australia and New Zealand. I certianly won't be going to a Four Nations game.
