Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. Interesting reading with some of you trying to justify the signing of Cockayne, the same people would have a different viewpoint if he was signing for Cas. Hypocrisy, dontcha just love it?
Quote="ry21"I honestly think that most of his problem at HKR was Justin Morgan and how he dealt with certain issues at the club. Hopefully under RA things will be different. Fingers

Im with philb on this one.Ryan those 2 got on great and in the coming weeks if you get chance to ask BC,you will be told no doubt that Ben and justin got on great.6 years was it with us and JM ?
He wouldnt have stayed so long and got so many games if those 2 had a probo. If fact BC had a further contract sorted under JM b4 the latest prob and b4 JMs departure.

Nowhere have i stated that those two had any issues with each otherr. I was merely stating that BC may have got away with more under JM than he possibly will do under RA. After all one is known more for discipline than the other.

Paul Cooke certainly didn't, I don't agree Morgan was Bens problem, however Agar certainly did seem to root out the boozing culture at FC.
All those saying he shouldn't be signed etc, my advice is give him a chance and if he gives anywhere near the same effort and enthusiasm to the team that he did at Rovers I think a good many doubters will be eating their words by mid season. Good Luck Charlie and thanks for all your efforts for our club.
