Why on earth do we need another winger
You may or may not rate George (who IMO is a centre) but we have any number of players who can play on the wing. In the great scheme of things it's not an important position for us.
Under the high ball is a lottery and all wingers have bad days, no one was moaning last week.
The key is not to be in that position too often and we were. Partly due to penalties and partly due to the fact that Leeds made too many meters and had too much space.
We need one if not two props, we also need a genuine playmaker whether that be a 7 or a 9. The props will keep the game in the forwards and thus reducing pressure on the wingers and the 7 or 9 will allow us to actually score tries and thus make a game of it.
If you think a winger, even one of the NRL's finest will make a blind bit of difference to us you are IMO mistaken.
Finally take a look at Josh Griffin - his positional play was not great. George needs to improve but he is not the only one. A very young and inexperienced backline that gets caught out too easily across the park.
