Surprise surprise!

I think Childs has mellowed a little from his former attiitude towards us. In one or two games last season he actually seemed to "lean" in favour of Trinity with some decisions.

We all criticise referees from time to time but at the end of the day they don't let the tries in or fail to take chances in attack.
We have to get smarter and stop giving them opportunity to penalise us.

And most of the time it’s the touch judges who get it wrong but hardly get any criticism.

You tend to find that as most refs become less star struck as their experience grows. In the end the endless gamesmanship employed by certain top players backfires and the refs end up detesting them.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Thaler has been suspended because some Coach at a ‘top’ club has moaned that he isn’t leaning towards them as much as he should.

Only Klien never seemed to change, he hated us from start to finish.

That PT was not speculation it was an opinion, one I stick by. Some coaches have a well documented history of complaining directly to the Controller of Refs after defeats where they feel they were treated unfairly, it’s in the public domain. Most seem to come from ‘top’ clubs and are more often than not Aussies.

Tbf I bet CC would like to do the same but is savvy enough to know that nobody would take him seriously, not with that accent!

Can someone supply the name of the ref who got chased from the field. I never will forget the outrage and anger on the twins faces as they chased him along with about 30 other supporters.
