Hi this will possibly sound very harsh, but it is meant as a polite word of warning or a suggestion, cougar fans - quite a few on here, who are very vocal at games have already said that they really wont be nice to a bucket collection being held at cougars for bulls. Your other charity would be welcome, but not bulls, not to help them with money, no way, we feel sorry for players, its not their fault who they are employed by but Cougar fans can't stand bulls, infact most wont even say the name. Our chairman might of said its ok, but as you as a bulls fan will know by the way your current chairman is, chairmen dont always understand fans or the the feelings they have. This will only end up as a negative experience for you. I wish you luck in your walk, quite a few cougar fans once walked from Keighley to Dewsbury in aid of a young fan who died. I will not and won't be putting any money into the bulls fund - your other charity fine, but not a penny to help save the bulls. I really do feel you would be made welcome for the other charity, but not for the bulls fund, if any fans want to donate to it, they know to ring your club directly. like I said I wish you luck in the walk, but I feel I must make you aware that any bucket collection for helping to save the Bulls will not be received well by alot of cougar fans.

To clarify, please can you tell us what other sponsorship methods would take place at Cougar park (if any) where the proceeds are to be split 50/50, or were you refering to other sponsorship methods taking place elsewhere, I feel its best to be absolutely clear here for everyone

My walk Odsal 2 Cougar Park has sponsorship through gold ol' sponsor forms for family/work, etc. And there is a link in my signature that takes you to an online donation page. Both of these are split equally between the two funds.



When I get to Cougar Park, then there's a bucket collection, which is now [usolely[/u for Craig/RFL.



I hope this clarifies things for people, I wouldn't want anyone put off to donate. Nothing from Keighley goes to Bradford.
