It was good to see the lads win today, even when we were not on top of our game, it just goes to show what a winning mentality and playing to the final hooter can do to a team ,well done JD and the team.
We can talk all we want about who "deserved" what, but at the end of the day if you don't play for the full 80 you risk defeat. We have been in the same position as Donny in the past and lost and I know which I prefer.
Having the determiniation, ability and desire to turn a poor performance into victory is a habit worth having. JD's try under the posts at the end is a prime example.
We have to cut out the errors and siilly penalties, it would be interesting to see how Donny would have performed with less field position and possession.
I would imagine that JD will get our forwards fired up for the return at CP so it should make for an "interesting" game.
