Your beef on jingoism is actually based on your United tendencies, let's be honest. Jingoism in England is no different than the jingoism that affects most major countries at such times. 1996 awoke a nation that was actually pretty apathetic in comparison to the rest of the world when it came to supporting their team in major tournaments. |

It's our 1st game with new owners tomorrow against the Villa.Not sure what to think about a company buying us just to raise their profile but they've promised more investment in players than the Jack Walker trust gave us for the last few years (not that they'd have to spend much to invest more than the trust have since Jack died).There would be no point in buying us to raise profile if we're in the championship next season.
