Easy for people to slag off the crowd at the darts not paying attention while sitting there on their sofa watching it on Sky Sports. Fact remains that is pretty dull to watch in person. You can't see the board, you have to watch it on a big screen thats miles away, its very easy to get distracted, or take a break from staring at the big screen to have a chat with your mates.

We are hardly talking about a stray of attention here are we?

I've watched darts and audiences over a long time, and what I saw the other day topped all of it. It was like a football game going back to the seventies, it just needed a spark to kick it all off.

Booze-fueled taunting.

The security there is first class, it won't kick off, and if it goes, any trouble will be quickly nipped in the bud.



Its a great atmosphere and its VERY easy to get drawn in when you are there. Trust me

Anderson is a top player but is definitely a bottler.

I must say the crowd have been better today.

Apart from booing certain players, which will always happen I suppose.

He didn't play the board, he played the player.

He was getting frustrated with Whitlock and making a big thing of it even though the man has a broken ankle and still was quite nippy retrieving his darts, and to me that showed a bad attitude.

Whitlock played fine darts, but Anderson played like a fool, beat himself up, and deserved defeat.

Two 6-5 semis and two fightbacks, it doesn't get much better.

In the second game I was hoping for Wade to win so at least we would get a new champ.

But fair play to Lewis.

Aye , Two cracking semis , Lets hope the final is just as good.... and the air con is off.

Great comeback from Lewis, glad he won because I really can't stand James Wade, I don't know why I just don't like him!



Lewis is becoming a bit of a whinger aswell though, he is on the wind-up with the crowd all the time sticking his fingers up at them and then moans when they have a go back





I forgot all about the first game and missed all of it, sounds like I missed a cracker

Lewis has always been a complainer, he was taught by Phil Taylor after all. That's probably where all his smugness and arrogance comes into play.



At least now that Lewis is in the final, I can fully back someone in the final.......that will be Andy Hamilton. Absolutely cannot stand Lewis, I hope the Hammer takes him to the cleaners tonight.

Fair do's guess your right, don't watch much darts anymore TBH but Lewis is always moaning about something isn't he?

This is absolutely there for the taking for Hamilton, just needs to move up a gear

Once again like last year, another fantastic tournament ends with a thoroughly disappointing result. Can't believe I now have to refer to that toolLewis as a "multiple world champion". It sickens me!

Painter & Barney in the Premier League

So Sky Sports chose Barney as their Wildcard with Whitlock, and the PDC chose Hamilton and Painter.



Hamilton and Whitlock I can understand, but Barney? He's had an absolute shocker! I'd have rather had Hankey in there than Barney. And Painter got in there on the basis that he won the Players in November?



I am so underwhelmed by half of those choices.

Barney has fell apart mentally over the last 12 months. He shouldn't even have been discussed as a possibility.



Chisnall must be upset.

Chisnall, Newton, Part, Hankey, Waites etc all would have been interesting choices. Dreadful. Another year I probably won't bother watching, the Premier League is so dull.

Barney is box office, glad he is in

It'll be no fun seeing him getting dicked 8-0 in most rounds and the way his body language was at the back end of last season , I'd put money on him not finishing the Premier league rounds.
