And it was a blatant foul on Drogba in the first place. I don't know how the ref could allow that to go on when he blew up for practically anything after that.

To go there without being given a chance in hell to win that game, and to score 4 goals, it makes me proud to be a Liverpool Football Club supporter.



Without your best player and our 2nd best being kept out of the game it shows that the desire from the boys was unbelievable.



A large rant about Chelsea could finish this post off but id much rather concentrate on my team and how immense we were today.

What a game, massive credit Liverpool for what will go down as a 'classic'. I don't even think 4-4 tells the full story.



Credit Hiddink, his HT teamtalk, credit him for a massively bold tactical substitution too, taking Kalou off after 35 mins and replacing him with Anelka who playing out of position had a hand in two of the four Chelsea goals, nobody has mentioned this, I thought that was a masterstroke.



Drogba was immense, absolutely immense. Sure, he stays down a bit, but Torres aside, there's no better forward in World Football when he does that, he'll just get slated from fans for the other side of his game, but he won Chelsea the game tonight, amazing.



I can't quite believe what I watched, 6-3 it was over, 6-5 within mins it wasn't, just madness.



On the Cech 'finished' thing, I know he had a mere tonight, but he was excellent last Wednesday, he came and claimed everything, and made a couple of vital saves at Anfield, although there's something not quite right with him.



See Rafa at the end, angrym having a go at Hiddink. What was up with him ? Not happy with Drogba, he was fuming...

Now, i'm not making excuses, just a bit of a complaint, but how do you play a team when they are willing to go down with the slightest touch? The ref bought it all from Chelsea tonight. Didier Drogba, I don't think this man realises that he looks like a right muppet when he goes down like he's been shot. He was about to go down before their fourth goal, but then Anelka picked it up. You can guarentee if Anelka wasn't there he would have been rolling around for ages the tart.



Well played both teams, but over the 2 legs (saying this really hurts), i'd say Chelsea deserved it, tonight was evenly contested, but the tie was won (lost) at Anfield when they out-played us.

You're probably right but after half an hour we were looking like favourites, but half time came and went, and then it was just like basketball. You score 2, we'll score one, you score one, we'll score 2.

Great effort from the Reds tonight but for as much as I think that Rafa got right tonight, maybe a couple of decisions in the second half proved to be poor ones. As well as not having Gerrard on the bench..

I think leaving Gerrard out tonight was a good idea.



If we ever needed more proof that without Gerrard we can play and cause team problems then that was it.

Gives Lucas the chance to just play his game without having any focus on him, i think he played alrite tonight. Taking Masch off i think wasnt the best idea as he was doing well and keeping Lampard quiet.



Babel maybe should have been on earlier and taking Torres off at just the right time so we don't have him for the combeack mark II was the only bad decisions he made.
